Suitable for all skin types.

Revoderm (Revolux) Advanced Scar Gel is a remarkable product that works for all types of scars. We have carried this product for ten years, and thousands of patients report excellent results.

Advanced Scar Gel is made from ultrapure medical-grade silicone. Silicone is a time-honoured approach for reducing the appearance of scars. Time and time again, silicone gel for scars beats even the best scar cream available. That’s because many of the scar creams that are on the market are too “thin” and not concentrated enough. They may help your skin feel smooth, but they do not deliver the long-lasting relief your scars require to heal. Formulated with 100% medical-grade silicone, silicone scar gel moisturizes skin so it feels radiant, soft, and refreshed

Benefits of Silicone Gel for Scars

Scar recovery gel is your all-in-one solution for achieving a clear, glowing complexion all while helping you keep comfortable during the healing process.

  • Minimizes the colour and thickness of scar tissue and relieves itching and pain from scarring
  • Minimizes surgical scars, keloid scars, burns, facial reconstruction, laser resurfacing and acne scars
  • Speeds the healing process
  • Softens fine lines and wrinkles and creates a velvety surface to apply makeup and foundation
  • Provides a barrier against the elements to keep skin hydrated
  • Excellent for facial scars

Our skin is tough when it needs to be but is also extremely delicate. Silicone scar gel delivers soothing hydration that can help your skin heal faster while softening the look and feel of scars, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Revoderm’s silicone scar gel was created with even the most sensitive skin in mind, namely, your face. While scars can occur anywhere on the body, faces typically take the brunt of the damage because they are most exposed to the elements. Advanced scar gel can be used on your face to heal irritated skin and restore its natural barrier, treat acne scars and fine lines caused by UV rays, or speed recovery of cosmetic procedure incisions.

Why Silicone Gel for Scars?

There are a seemingly endless number of creams, moisturizers, and more on the market that promise to improve the look and feel of scars. What makes silicone gel the best scar treatment?

First and foremost, silicone scar gel does a perfect job hydrating your skin while still allowing it to “breathe”. Heavy creams and moisturizers can often be too rich for your sensitive skin. These products create an impenetrable barrier on your skin, hydrating it but also inhibiting any natural healing process from taking place.

On the other hand, silicone gel for scars creates a semi-occlusive barrier that increases the hydration of the uppermost layer of the skin without suffocating it. This helps accelerate the natural healing process while reducing collagen production to promote flatter, softer healed tissue.

Silicone gel for scars is all about balance. Experience how it can help restore your skin’s equilibrium for yourself!

Who Can Use Silicone Scar Gel

Revoderm’s advanced scar gel works well for all skin types. However, you may want to avoid using it in areas where you are prone to breakouts.

Silicone gel for scars is a great addition to your skincare routine or for spot treatments. The benefits of the scar gel can be further enhanced with the use of serums and moisturizers that further nourish and rejuvenate your skin. However, you may want to avoid using comedogenic oils or other ingredients that can clog pores when utilizing silicone scar gel.

Whether you have stubborn acne scars, surgical scars, or fine lines, advanced silicone scar gel can help heal all of these imperfections to create a smooth complexion.

Although scar creams work best when applied to recent scars, our scar gel also works on old scars. The formulation works by remodelling collagen in the dermis of the healing scar and by providing a temporary and inert barrier for the healing scars. This approach is better than using a topical antibacterial cream because there is zero risk of allergy with scar gel; antibiotic creams are only desirable in the setting of skin infection (and they have a significant risk of antibiotic allergy development). Revoderm (Revolux) scar gel also works by minimizing the itch that is so common in healing scars. It also targets excess scar redness through its barrier restorative properties. With silicone gel for scars, your skin will look and feel its best throughout the healing process and beyond.

    How To Apply

Apply evenly to the affected area up to four times per day. Begin using as soon as the wound has healed or sutures have been removed. Do not use on broken or open skin unless otherwise directed by your physician or health care provider.

    Tips & Suggestions

We suggest using Revoderm Detox Cleanser, a silky, anti-aging facial cleanser designed for daily use. Botanical essential oils and extracts are used to cleanse, condition, invigorate, and revitalize sensitive skin. Unlike other cleansers, this dermatologist-designed formula is non-abrasive and won’t cause skin irritation.

Advanced Scar Gel is an ultrapure silicone polymer (Dimethicone, Cetearyl, Dimethicone Crosspolymer). This gel helps with burn scars, hypertrophic scars, hypertrophic scars, keloid scars as well as surgical and cosmetic procedure scars. It helps with reduction of scar texture and thickness as well as colour change.

Topical silicone helps hydrate the superficial stratum corneum and re-establish the barrier of the epidermis that is characteristic of scar tissue. It modulates the expression of several growth factors, including tumor growth factor beta and transforming growth factor beta, resulting in a diminution of excessive collagen.
