Retinol Anti-Aging Eye Cream

The skin around your eyes is the thinnest skin on your body —about half as thick as the skin on the rest of your face. It shows fatigue, age, and stress first. And it punishes you the fastest for using the wrong product.

That's why we built Eyelyte Complex around a different idea than most eye creams. Instead of pure retinol (too harsh for this zone), we use an encapsulated form — a gentler delivery system that releases the actives gradually, so you get the smoothing and collagen-stimulating benefits without the redness, peeling, or sting. We layered in Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5, a clinically studied peptide that targets the fluid retention and microcirculation issues behind puffiness and dark circles, and rounded it out with hyaluronic acid, horse chestnut, baobab, and shea to keep everything calm, hydrated, and barrier-strong.

In clinic, we reach for it right after delicate eye-area procedures — once the initial healing phase has passed — because it's gentle enough for freshly treated skin and rich enough to support recovery.

The eye area is roughly half as thick as facial skin, with fewer oil glands and a more delicate barrier — which is why most retinols formulated for the face cause irritation, peeling, or sensitivity when used here. Encapsulated retinol solves this:the active is housed inside a lipid carrier (lecithin and phosphatidylcholine) that releases gradually, giving you cell turnover and collagen support without the shock.

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5 is a clinically studied peptide developed specifically for the eye area. It works on two fronts —strengthening capillary walls to reduce fluid leakage (which causes puffiness) and improving microcirculation around the eye (which fades the dark blue/purple shadows that come from blood pooling). Pair that with horse chestnut seed extract, a natural vasoconstrictor used in dermatology for the same reasons, and you have a real, multi-mechanism answer to under-eye fatigue.

Hyaluronic acid plumps fine lines from within. Vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate and tocopherol) provides antioxidant protection against UV and pollution. Squalane, coconut oil, and shea butter act as occlusives to reinforce the skin barrier.Baobab seed extract and rice amino acids nourish and support elasticity.

Use AM and PM. After cleansing and toning, apply a small amount to clean, dry skin around the eye area. Gently pat with your ring finger in small circular motions until absorbed — don't rub. Follow with moisturizer and SPF in the morning. For deeper hydration, layer HA + Prebiotics Serum underneath.
