I have been seeing Dr Alanen and using Revoderm for over 10 years. This is the first product that didn’t work for my skin. For reference, I have dry and sensitive skin, with a few small spots of hyperpigmentation and have been using this serum for 8 weeks. After the first time using it, I woke up with 6 small pimples, but they healed after a couple of days. It also stung quite badly for the first 2 weeks and the stinging has come back again at week 8. It also dried out the skin around my eyes and the bridge of my nose to the point of flaking. I used it every third day for 2 weeks and worked up every second night since and sadly, have not noticed any difference in my skin’s tone/hyper spots. Further, the bottle lid has cracked (no idea how this happened) and it no longer seals properly. This is disappointing as it cost $200 and I still have 75% of the product left, but am unsure if I can use it due to the bottle breaking and the potential of the serum oxidizing. This is my experience with the product, but glad it has worked for others. I love all my other Revoderm products, but sadly, this serum didn’t work for me.
